The Great Grouse Gun Debate – Poll Results

Feather and Fin recently asked our audience to weigh in on a question that has stirred spirited debate among grouse hunters for years… what is the ‘perfect grouse gun’? The results are in and we are proud to say that we are able to call a winner, although it was close in the “shotgun type/action” category.

Hopefully our little poll will serve to resolve some grouse camp arguments…but we all know that like the hard flush that got away, this debate will live on for years to come. Enjoy the survey results and please feel free to share with all of your hunting buddies!

Do I understand the graph declares the .410 is tied for second with the 12 gauge in terms of popularity?
And, larger than #6 is 14% popularity?
If so, bogus numbers in the real world of ruffed grouse hunting.
I would doubt the experience of the respondents…..highly.

    • Bob – Thanks for commenting! I have to say that we were surprised at some of the responses as well. Ultimately I think the survey yielded results that we would have expected. Please stop by again soon!

      Cheers,
      Spencer
